Believe it or not, I'm also a bit of a geek outside of work particularly when it comes to the latest tech. I'm a big fan of Raspberry Pi and have been a freelance writer for their magazine for many years - I have a number of articles that have made the cover as their featured article, which I am proud of! I also love a bit of retro gaming, particularly from the early 8 and 16-bit eras of the NES and Sega Megadrive, and have many gaming handhelds that I'm slowly introducing my young son to. I'm also an avid Aston Villa supporter and enjoying a bit of a resurgence in form at the moment!
Achievement
I'm always proud of the work I do and I stand behind everything I do. I love helping out in more than the areas I'm hired to do, wherever possible. Having worked in and around Derby for a number of years, I have built up an extensive network of people who can help in a number of ways which I would like to think is down to my ability to build lasting relationships, and maybe a tinge of witty humour.
Weekend
When I'm not working, I am love spending time with my family. Whether that is going for a swim with my son on a Saturday morning whilst my wife does her Park Run, grabbing a pub lunch somewhere local and testing the local beers or just spending some time helping my son build his ten millionth Minecraft base on the Switch!
