I'm a developer in the Websites & Systems team, with a bias towards back-end processes. You'll typically find me poring over database designs, trying to get systems to communicate with each other or automating workflows.

At heart I'm an engineer. Each project is an exciting challenge to create an efficient solution that is flexible enough to accommodate future changes with little effort. I love seeing a system grow and change over time and I love seeing systems helping people.
Achievement
After over 20 years of working fully remotely, I'm relieved at how smoothly the change to hybrid working has gone, thanks in no small part to the warm welcome of the Fluid team.
Weekend
I spend all my time outdoors at weekends, either in my garden, out on my bicycle around the Peaks or walking with my dogs. When I do settle down it's to listen to music - anything from jazz, folk and classical to the left-field and avant garde.
