We're excited to announce that a Fluid campaign developed in partnership with University of Nottingham Sport, has been shortlisted in the Best Marketing Campaign category in this year’s CUBO Awards.

The university devised its Empower campaign to engage female students in their own physical, social and mental wellbeing. To support the strong marketing plan the Sports team had in place, they needed a visual identity to bring it to life.

Fluid worked with the university to develop a distinctive identity that would give their audience the confidence to engage with the initiative and take part in the events and classes they had planned. It was rolled out across both print and digital applications, giving them the toolkit they needed to promote Empower to the audience base.

Carrie Gregory, the creative lead on the project said: “When the University approached Fluid to help shape their Empower campaign, we jumped at the chance to help the team responsibly incentivise female students to make positive changes to their lifestyles in order to enhance their social, mental and physical wellbeing.

It’s so important that universities are creating space for people to enhance their personal wellbeing, and placing a strong emphasis on mental health. We’re really glad to have played a small part in that by providing them with a creative solution. It’s wonderful to see how the Empower campaign has gone from strength to strength.”

The Empower initiative has proved a real success for the university, so it’s brilliant to see the campaign being recognised by the CUBO Awards, which highlights innovation and best practice within higher education institutes. Winners will be announced on 3 December.

Best of luck to our friends at the University of Nottingham!
