Pride 2024

An inclusive workplace should feel like home. Which is why we made a promise back in 2022. A promise to be more open and honest about who we are, so that our Fluid community could be more open and honest about who they were too. Pride 2024 feels like the perfect time to celebrate, reflect, share and refocus. We've done a lot. But there's a lot more to do, and we couldn't be prouder of the colleagues that are leading the way.

Lessons in Pride

I continue to feel inspired, humbled, educated and proud as my colleagues lead the way on behalf of the agency that (I think, just a teency bit) they might love.

Thoughts from our EDI team

Bec

Being part of Fluid's EDI team means a lot to me because I think it's important to contribute as much as I can as well as improving and learning to make sure I am as inclusive as possible. I want to make sure that anyone that walks through the door won't feel alone and that there are people that understand them and make sure they know that they have a voice that will be heard from the get-go and i think the EDI team are essential in making sure we are doing as much as we can for that to happen.

Liv

Being a part of Fluid's EDI team means having a voice in the company and the feeling that everyone has the opportunity to make Fluid a more comfortable and secure place to work. It means that i have been able to grow and flourish in my first full-time role in a supportive environment. I feel proud of our culture as I've seen many Fluiders (including myself), be able to completely be themselves without feeling as though they must fit a mould.

Col

For me Fluid has always been fully inclusive by nature. It's part of our values. It's ingrained in our culture. It has just been part of our fabric from the very beginning. However we needed to ensure we vocalised that, both internally and externally. So that anyone outside of Fluid has a clear picture of exactly how inclusive and safe a workplace Fluid is. This is important not only for anyone looking to join our team, but also for potential new clients looking to partner with us. We've made huge strides in this area over the last few years, and our Pride month celebration reflects our commitment to ensuring Fluid is not only inclusive, but an active supporter of equal rights for all.

Georgia

Being a part of Fluid's EDI team is incredibly important to me. It's amazing to see a collective of people who are committed to fostering an environment where every individual is valued and respected, regardless of their background, identity, or experiences. The environment we've created is more than just supportive; it's a place where authenticity thrives. Seeing everyone bring their whole selves to their roles fills me with immense pride and joy. Fluid has been instrumental in allowing me to fully embrace being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Nicole

To me, inclusivity should be a standard pillar of any workplace. From the ways to make me as an individual feel included and respected, and to the many other ways to make my wider team be included and respected. I would not want to work somewhere where this wasn't the attitude of every single employee. Pride celebrates love and brings joy and acceptance and safety. It helps people to feel pride in who they are when they may have previously been persecuted for it and, I mean, why would that not be important to every human on the planet?

Vicky

Being a part of Fluid’s EDI team means I can contribute to creating real change and improvements to our culture that ensures people feel included, accepted and most of all respected. Our regular meetings, training and workshop sessions allow us to keep being socially aware and ready to support our team and clients.

Equality at Fluid

Our stance is simple. It doesn’t matter who you love, how you look, where you’re from, when you were born, how you identify or what faith you follow. All that matters is that you’re free to be yourself. Confident to do your best work. Encouraged to express your ideas. Challenged to push yourself. And liberated to lead the life you choose without a moment’s hesitation.
