We all know the moment. You’re in the pub. You ask the bar man for a coke. “Sorry, it’s Pepsi. Is that ok?” For some, it’s a dealbreaker. Ask anyone. On the Coca Cola vs Pepsi debate, we all have a favourite. Even if we don’t throw a strop and tell the bar man to leave it, we begrudging sip our Pepsi while wishing it was Coca Cola instead.

It’s been a milestone year for Fluid. We’ve expanded our team, welcomed a new director and celebrated reaching our 15 year anniversary. And to top it all off, we spent three months working hard to create a fantastic new website to share our latest work too.

Hang on. There’s an elephant in the room. An agency writing a piece about agency vs in-house. Surely we all know how that ends? Well I’ve spent my time working in both environments, so feel I can offer an objective perspective on the matter.

We’re thrilled to report that our unique and ever-evolving brand for the Union of Students at University of Derby has been credited for a soar in its rankings this year, after the Union achieved a top 50 position in the WhatUni Student Choice table.

Following the invention of traditional barcodes in the mid 70s, there was an almost instant demand to develop a 2D barcode that would be quicker, more flexible and something that people would actually want to scan.
